SO...Why A Blue Moon Mini Aussie??
Blue Moon Mini Aussies are bred for intelligence,conformation, athleticism, health, and a great personality while maintaining the best representation of the AKC Australian Shepherd. I am truly a small hobby breeder and have a couple litters a year. All puppies are born and raised in our home & played with daily from birth until they leave for their new homes. Pups are raised as part of our family and are well socialized with other animals, all kinds of people and kids, and different environments.I do this because I love puppies!
As a buyer you will be assured of a puppy that has received appropriate veterinary care, up to date vaccinations and worming schedule. Our dogs are fed premium dog food, started on housebreaking, crate training, using a doggy door and socializing! They come with puppy support, health records, and a puppy kit to get you started on the right foot.I want my puppy owners to be happy and assured they made a great decision to choose a Blue Moon Mini Aussie.

The Miniature American Shepherd is prized as a working dog, often excelling as a search and rescue dog, as well as a disaster dog, therapy and a guide dog. They are versatile and athletic and excell in events such as agility, obedience competition and flyball as well. But even more so, they are an excellent family pet. As long as they are involved with their "human" , this breed does well in any setting. The Miniature American Shepherd is a medium sized, well-balanced dog. The large ears are set high on the head and are triangular in shape. The overall appearance of the Mini American Shepherd is similar to the Border Collie, and of course the Australian Shepherd, which this breed is derived from. The coat is of moderate length and is straight and smooth, and it can be wavy as well.
The MAS is loyal and affectionate towards its owners and those it knows. It can be wary of strangers and may display cautious or guarding behaviour when in the presence of unfamiliar people. It is highly intelligent and easy to train. They are eager to please and loves to play. If neglected, the MAS can make its own fun, which may result in destructive behaviour. If socialized from a young age, the MAS can bond well with children and other pets and dogs. The breed should show no signs of aggression. They crave human companionship at all times.
